Memorials and tribute gifts

Honor someone special with a gift in their name

If you have a loved one who has been impacted by AFSC, establishing a memorial or tribute gift is a meaningful way to honor them or celebrate a special occasion, such as a birthday, while supporting our mission. Your memorial or tribute gift will extend the legacy of your loved one and help AFSC today.

An example of how it works

Kristin Loken Kristin Loken’s career as a Foreign Service officer with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) exposed her to the focused, essential aid AFSC has always provided to families in war-torn areas. Many years later, after the loss of her father and his wife, she wanted to ensure her sister’s long-term financial security. Kristin did so by establishing a charitable gift annuity for her. Kristin feels both relief and satisfaction in knowing that the lifelong income her sister will receive originates from an organization whose work she has great faith in. She’s also pleased that her gift furthers the needed work of AFSC. Read Kristin’s full story here.
